The SHERMAN L uses a motor rated 3200W nominal and 8000W peak on a 14 inch wheel, and carries up to 120 kg. At about 46 kg it is built for distance, not for carrying up stairs. It comes set to 25 km\/h*, and the wheel itself can reach 100 km\/h**. It is at its best held at a steady pace for hours.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The battery holds 4000Wh of Samsung 50S cells and is rated for around 200 km, so a full day of touring fits into one charge. Your real range depends on your weight, the roads, the weather and how fast you ride. Charging takes about 6 hours at 5A, or about 3 hours at 10A.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Compression and rebound, separately<\/h3>

The suspension is adjustable hydraulic with 90 mm of travel, 12 clicks of compression and 18 clicks of rebound. Setting the two separately lets you match a 46 kg wheel to your weight and the roads you ride. The tyre is a tubeless 2.75-14 and the body measures 720 x 580 x 280 mm.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Turn signals and IPX6<\/h3>

There is a daytime running light, turn signals and a tail light, which counts for a lot on a wheel that is out all day. The body is rated IPX6, so rain and spray are fine. An LCD dashboard sits on the wheel, a kickstand is fitted, and the app works on iOS and Android.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
