Torque that turns gradients into non events
The V14 Adventure is rated 4000W with a 9000W peak, 200 N·m of torque and 850N of wheel tractive force. That combination is why it takes gradients of up to 50 degrees, a figure very few wheels of any size will claim. Delivered with a factory-set speed of 25 km/h*, it reaches 70 km/h**, and it carries riders up to 140 kg without losing pedal authority.
Suspension that adapts as it compresses
The suspension uses an adaptable leverage ratio with a progressive shock over 85 mm of travel. In practice, the early part of the stroke stays supple for small chatter, while the rate ramps up further into the travel so heavy impacts do not bottom out. Paired with the 3.00-12 off road tyre, it keeps the contact patch loaded on loose, rutted and rocky ground.
2400Wh, and one hour to refill it
The 2400Wh pack supports up to 120 km of range. Charging on the standard charger takes around 7 hours, but INMOTION 16A ultra fast charging technology brings that down to roughly 1 hour, which changes what a day of riding can look like. The smart BMS protects against overcharging, over temperature, over discharge, overcurrent, short circuit and overvoltage.
Equipment and protection
The V14 Adventure comes with a trolley handle, an adjustable headlight and power pads for control on technical ground. The wheel is IPX6 rated and the battery IPX7, so water crossings and heavy rain are within its brief. The INMOTION app on iOS and Android handles settings, monitoring and OTA updates.
