Description

Dual 900W motors with measured control

The ROVORON R7 Lite pairs two 900W brushless hub motors with a 60V system, giving it 1,800W of combined rated power. A motor at each wheel provides pulling power for acceleration and gradients, while separate controllers manage the front and rear drive. Aluminium components help transfer heat away from the controllers during use.

The stated climbing capability is around 36.4% (20°), with results depending on rider load and conditions. Prolonged climbing can still raise motor temperature and trigger ECO mode. The scooter arrives with a 25km/h* factory setting; its stated unlocked maximum is 65km/h** for private-land use.

Starting response and speed-limit settings let you adjust how the power arrives. A gentler starting response can make the scooter easier to become familiar with, while the dual-motor system retains the reserve to respond as the gradient changes.

60V28.6Ah battery with around 65km theoretical range

The ROVORON R7 Lite uses a 60V28.6Ah battery, with a theoretical range of around 65km listed in the R7 user manual. This is the Lite configuration; the PRO has a larger Samsung battery. The manual’s theoretical-range test conditions specify a full battery, a 75kg load, 25°C and an average speed of 25km/h on a paved test surface.

Actual range varies with speed, rider weight, gradients, temperature, tyre pressure and repeated acceleration. A steady pace uses the available energy differently from sustained high-speed riding, so the manual’s test conditions are useful when comparing range figures and planning charging stops.

Charging takes approximately 16h with the supplied 1.75A charger. Two charging ports provide flexibility when using compatible charging equipment. For regular use, the practical benefit of the 28.6Ah pack is having substantial capacity available between charging stops.

Spring suspension, tubeless tyres and mechanical brakes

Front and rear spring suspension helps absorb surface irregularities, reducing the jolts that reach the rider through the deck and handlebar. The 11-inch, 90/65-6.5 tubeless tyres work alongside the suspension to make uneven ground more manageable. Their air volume provides cushioning, and there is no inner tube to pinch; regular pressure checks remain important.

The ROVORON R7 Lite uses cable-operated mechanical disc brakes at both wheels. This is a key difference from the PRO’s NUTT hydraulic system. EBS electric braking supplements the disc brakes, with strength adjustable from 0 (off) to 5 in P3. ABS can be switched on or off separately in P4. The mechanical brakes still require regular checks of pad wear, cable adjustment and disc alignment.

The manual lists approximately 180mm of ground clearance and a 980mm wheelbase for the Lite. Its maximum load is 120kg, including the rider and anything carried. The broad standing platform gives the rider room to shift weight during acceleration, braking and turns.

EY3 APP, fixed handlebars and a folding stem

The ROVORON R7 Lite has a fixed, one-piece handlebar and a folding stem. The handlebar grips do not fold as they do on the PRO. Folding the stem reduces the scooter’s height for storage and transport, with dimensions of 1,283 × 331 × 606mm listed in the manual. Check the available space before loading, and account for the approximately 48.7kg weight when lifting.

The EY3 APP display keeps essential information in view, including speed, battery status and riding mode. Compatible iOS and Android connectivity through the Dualtron app adds access to supported settings and monitoring, including speed limits and starting response.

A headlight, rear and brake lights, turn signals, hazard lights, reflectors and RGB stem lighting help the scooter remain visible from different angles. A horn, rear number plate holder and reinforced kickstand complete the practical equipment, while a charger and multitool are supplied for setup and everyday ownership.
