Description

Dual motors with 11,500 W peak output

A BLDC hub motor in each wheel gives the DUALTRON STORM LIMITED its dual-motor drive, with a stated combined peak output of up to 11,500 W. The setup provides a substantial reserve for acceleration and climbing, while the controller housing uses exposed cooling fins to help dissipate heat.

The scooter comes with a 25 km/h factory limit. Dualtron Shop quotes up to 100 km/h** for private-land use, with actual performance depending on rider weight, battery charge, terrain and conditions. The EY4 display and Dualtron app provide access to supported riding settings, so you can adjust the response to your preferences.

84V45Ah battery with up to 180 km theoretical range

The 84V45Ah battery stores approximately 3,780 Wh of nominal energy. LG or Samsung cells are used depending on the production batch. The manufacturer’s manual states a theoretical range of up to 180 km, tested with a 75 kg load, at 25°C and an average speed of 25 km/h on pavement. Your distance will vary with speed, rider weight, gradients, temperature and tyre pressure.

The battery sits inside the deck, keeping its substantial mass low in the chassis. Two charging ports allow compatible charging arrangements, while the EY4 display makes battery information easy to check before a ride. With the supplied 4 A charger, charging takes approximately 11 hours 15 minutes, depending on the battery’s starting state of charge and charging conditions.

Four-piston NUTT hydraulic disc brakes

NUTT hydraulic disc brakes act on 150 mm rotors at the front and rear, with a four-piston caliper at each wheel. Separate handlebar levers let you control the braking at either end. Hydraulic pressure carries the lever input through the brake line to the caliper, where the pads press against the rotor to slow the wheel.

The Storm Limited’s ABS/EBS electronic braking functions complement the physical disc brakes. Tyre grip and road conditions still affect how the scooter responds. Pads and rotors are wear components: check brake operation regularly and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for inspection and servicing, including work on the hydraulic circuit.

Rubber cartridge suspension and steering damper

Front and rear rubber-cartridge suspension absorbs movement through the swingarms, with five cartridge hardness grades available to tailor the setup to rider weight and preference. Choosing a different cartridge is a setup change, rather than an adjustment to an exposed coil spring.

The directional steering damper adds adjustable resistance to handlebar movement. Alongside the wide 11-inch run-flat tyres, it gives you more scope to tune the scooter’s response for your riding sessions. The tyres and suspension remain important parts of regular maintenance, including checking tyre pressure and the condition of the moving joints.

EY4 connectivity and twin 30 W headlights

The EY4 colour display puts speed, battery level, trip information and riding mode in view. Bluetooth connects it to the Dualtron app for iOS and Android, providing compatible monitoring and settings. The wide handlebar gives the controls room to sit within reach while you ride.

Two 30 W headlights provide forward illumination, with rear brake lighting, turn indicators and hazard lights completing the lighting package. Dualtron Shop lists an IPX5 water-resistance rating. The stem and handlebars fold for storage, reducing the quoted folded height to 600 mm; the folded scooter remains a substantial item to move and accommodate.
