ROVORON R5 PRO

The ROVORON R5 PRO puts a 900W motor in each wheel, with 1800W of combined rated power and a stated peak of 3000W. That gives you a useful reserve when accelerating or meeting a gradient, while the starting-response setting lets you choose how gently the power comes in. You can take time to get familiar with the scooter without having to use its strongest response.

The factory speed setting is 25km/h*. The stated unlocked maximum is 70km/h** for private-land use. ROVORON lists a climbing capability of around 36.4% (20°), although rider weight and conditions affect the result. Sustained climbing can also raise motor temperature and trigger the protective ECO mode.

NUTT hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear are another meaningful step up from the standard R5. Pressure from the brake levers operates the calipers hydraulically, allowing you to build braking force progressively. There is no mechanical brake cable tension to adjust, although the pads, discs and hydraulic circuit still need regular inspection.

The electric braking settings give you another way to tailor deceleration. EBS strength is adjustable, while ABS can be switched on or off separately through the EY3 APP display. The manual explains both settings, so you can understand what each changes before choosing your setup.

The EY3 APP display keeps speed, battery status and riding information close to hand. Bluetooth connects the scooter to the compatible Minimotors / Dualtron app for supported monitoring and settings. Starting response and the speed limit can be adjusted to suit your setup, without relying on a fixed factory response.

Both the stem and handlebar grips fold. That brings the PRO down to 1280 × 279 × 603mm, useful when checking whether it will fit in your storage space or vehicle. At approximately 43.3kg, it still needs a considered lifting plan. A headlight with horn, rear and brake lighting, turn indicators, hazard lights and reflectors complete the equipment.
