Description
3200W nominal, 8000W peak
The NOSFET APEX uses a motor rated 3200W nominal and 8000W peak on a 14 inch wheel, carrying up to 120 kg at about 38.8 kg. It comes set to 25 km/h*, and the wheel itself can reach 125 km/h**. NOSFET publishes no range figure for the APEX, so we do not quote one. The magnesium alloy rim keeps the wheel light where it counts.
150 mm of travel, 7 settings
The suspension is a progressive linkage with 4 damping points and 7 settings, over 150 mm of travel. It gets firmer as it compresses, so small bumps stay soft and a big landing still has something in reserve. Seven settings let you go soft for broken ground or firm for fast open riding.
2700Wh at 151.2V
The battery holds 2700Wh of Samsung INR21700 50S cells at 151.2V. Charging takes about 4 hours at 5A, or about 2 hours at 10A. A smart BMS looks after the cells. A display sits on the wheel, Bluetooth connects it to your phone on iOS and Android, and the body measures 545 x 207 x 735 mm.
IPX6 and a 20W headlight
The body is rated IPX6, so rain and mud come with the territory. The 20W LED headlight is bright enough to ride by on unlit ground, and there is a dual tail light behind you. A kickstand is fitted, and the tyre is a 2.75-14 on a 14 inch wheel.
