The NOSFET AEON 50S runs a motor rated 2200W nominal and 8000W peak on a 151.2V system, with a stated capability of up to 35 degrees and a maximum load of 120 kg. At around 29 kg it sits between the light city wheels and the heavy touring machines. It is delivered with a factory-set speed of 25 km/h*, and 65 km/h** is quoted for the wheel itself. The one-piece magnesium alloy frame is where a good part of that low weight comes from.

The pack holds 1300Wh built from Samsung 21700 50S high discharge cells at 151.2V and is rated at up to 75 km. Real distance depends on the rider, the terrain, the temperature and the pace held. A full charge takes around 3 hours with the 5A charger, and the pack accepts up to 10A. A smart BMS manages the cells rather than leaving a pack at this voltage to look after itself.

Hybrid 3.0-12 tyre, 90 mm of travel

The tyre is a NOSFET Hybrid tubeless 3.0-12, an all-terrain pattern rather than a road one, and suspension is RFLOXA symmetrical bidirectional damping with 90 mm of travel. Symmetrical means the load is shared between both sides rather than carried unevenly, which is what keeps the machine predictable when the surface is not. Magnesium alloy pedals adjust to the rider and give the feet a rigid platform.

IPX6, lighting and build

The body carries an IPX6 rating, so rain and road spray are conditions the machine is sealed for. Lighting is a daytime running light with 3 lighting modes and a tail light. A kickstand is fitted, Bluetooth links the wheel to the app, which runs on Android with iOS listed as coming soon, and the machine measures 900 x 213 x 495 mm.
