Description
2000W on a 10 inch wheel
The AERO 50S puts a 2000W motor on a 10 inch wheel, so it is small and easy to live with. It carries up to 120 kg and weighs about 24.5 kg. It comes set to 25 km/h*, and the wheel itself can reach 55 km/h**. The tyre is a tubeless 3.0-10, wide for its size, so a small wheel still feels planted.
70 mm of adjustable travel
The suspension is a four point design with 70 mm of travel, and you can adjust it. A small wheel cannot roll over a pothole the way a big one does, so the suspension has more work to do here. It is the part of the AERO 50S you will notice most on a rough street.
1100Wh, up to 60 km
The battery holds 1100Wh of Samsung 50S cells and is rated for up to 60 km. Your real range depends on your weight, the roads, the weather and how fast you ride. Charging takes 2 to 3 hours with the 5A charger, quick enough to top up during the day. A smart BMS looks after the cells.
IPX6, lights and pedals
The body is rated IPX6, so rain and spray are fine. There is a daytime running light with 3 lighting modes and a tail light. Magnesium alloy pedals give your feet a firm platform, the kickstand lets you put it down anywhere, and it measures 800 x 213 x 470 mm. The app runs on Android, with iOS coming soon.
