Power that gives you usable margin
On a wheel like the V12S, power is not just a figure on a spec sheet. It is the margin you still have when the gradient steepens, the surface changes or you need to accelerate with conviction. The 2,500 W motor is rated for continuous work and can call on up to 6,000 W at peak, backed by 130 N·m of torque. That reserve gives you more room before the wheel is working near its limits — an important safety consideration when demand rises.
With its 16-inch tubeless tyre, the V12S stays direct and precise while still feeling settled underneath you. It reaches up to 70 km/h**, but the more important point is how composed it can feel below that figure when the ride asks more from it.
Battery capacity that serves the ride
A 1,440 Wh pack using Samsung 50S 21700 cells gives the V12S the energy to be used as a proper long-distance wheel, not a machine that makes you plan every stop. INMOTION quotes up to 120 km, although real range always comes down to rider weight, pace, terrain, temperature and tyre pressure.
What matters just as much as range is recovery time. With the supplied 2.8 A charger, a full charge takes around seven hours. A compatible 10 A fast charger brings that down to roughly two hours — genuinely useful when you want the wheel ready again rather than left on charge overnight.
Suspension that earns its place
The V12S uses 90 mm of motorcycle-grade hydraulic suspension, and it earns its place the moment the ground stops being smooth. It takes the sharp edge off a compression, helps the tyre stay engaged as the surface changes, and keeps the wheel calmer when it meets steps, broken ground or repeated impacts.
Combined with the 16-inch tubeless tyre, it gives the V12S a more planted, predictable character than a rigid wheel when conditions get uneven. The body is rated IP56, with IP67 protection for the battery and controller, adding welcome resilience around dust and wet conditions.
Technology you actually use
The V12S is packed with features, but the useful ones do not need a manual to justify themselves. Its 4.3-inch automotive-grade touchscreen puts speed, battery level, mileage and settings where you can see them quickly. RideConnect adds remote locking, location tracking and movement alerts when the wheel is parked.
A 12 W adjustable headlight, rear light, trolley handle, foldable stand, USB-A and USB-C ports, and twin hi-fi speakers make it easier to live with between rides. The 256 ambient-light effects are simply a bit of character — the rest is practical hardware you will use.
