ROVORON S7

The Rovoron S7 takes a refreshingly direct approach to high-performance electric scooters. Built by Minimotors around an 84 V architecture, it pairs two 2,500 W nominal motors for 5,000 W of rated power, giving the drivetrain the electrical headroom to respond decisively when gradients, rider load or rolling resistance increase.

Its manufacturer-stated maximum speed is 100 km/h when unlocked for private-land use, while the road configuration remains limited according to local regulations. More important than the headline is the reserve behind it: dual controllers manage the front and rear motors, and the quoted 76% climbing capability reflects a platform designed to keep pulling when the terrain becomes demanding.

That is the S7’s real position in the range. It delivers the voltage, motor configuration and chassis hardware associated with much more expensive machines, while keeping the proposition focused on usable performance rather than excess for its own sake.

Power only becomes useful when the chassis can keep it composed. The S7 combines front and rear interchangeable cartridge suspension with a directional steering damper, allowing the rider to tune the feel and helping the front end remain settled as speed and surface demands increase.

Braking is handled by NUTT four-piston hydraulic callipers at both wheels, working with large disc brakes and electronic braking assistance. The result is strong, progressive control with the hydraulic consistency expected from a scooter in this performance class.

Wide 11-inch tubeless tyres add contact patch and stability, while approximately 190 mm of ground clearance helps the chassis pass over uneven surfaces. The reinforced square steering tube, substantial folding assembly and broad silicone-covered deck complete a platform designed to feel planted rather than nervous.

The standard directional steering damper is more than a specification-box extra. It helps control abrupt handlebar movement and filters the nervous reactions that can appear when a powerful scooter encounters grooves, crosswinds or rapid weight transfer. Its support becomes especially valuable as pace rises, yet the front end remains direct enough for precise placement.

The damper works together with the reinforced square steering tube and the cartridge suspension rather than trying to compensate for a flexible chassis. That integrated approach gives the S7 a more settled, confidence-inspiring character across fast open sections and imperfect urban surfaces.
