INMOTION P6

The INMOTION P6 is built around a motor rated 6000W nominal and 20000W maximum, with 300 Nm of torque available at the wheel. Figures that size change the character of a machine rather than just its headline number: the P6 holds a pace instead of chasing it, and it keeps climbing where lighter wheels start to trade speed for effort. Gradients of up to 45 degrees are within its stated capability, which covers steep ramps, underground exits and hill starts taken from a standstill. It is delivered with a factory-set speed of 25 km/h*, and 150 km/h** is quoted for the wheel itself. What matters day to day is not the ceiling but the reserve underneath it, because a motor working well inside its limit stays smooth, stays composed and stays predictable under the rider. Ridden gently it barely registers the effort, which is why the same wheel suits a short commute and a long day equally well. There is no drama in the way it does it, only consistency.

The P6 rides on a hydraulic suspension with 90 mm of travel, which is what makes a machine of this weight usable on surfaces that are not smooth. Broken tarmac, tram rails, kerb drops and gravel stop arriving through the pedals as single hard impacts and become something the chassis absorbs on the rider’s behalf. Suspension does more than protect comfort here: a wheel that stays in contact with the ground keeps its grip, and grip is what turns 300 Nm into control rather than noise.

The tyre is an 80/90 on a 14 inch wheel, a footprint sized for stability at speed rather than for the lightest possible steering. The P6 weighs around 50 kg and carries up to 140 kg, so a heavier rider, a loaded backpack or both stay inside its margin. Overall dimensions are 737 x 508 x 279 mm, which is a substantial machine to move on foot, and the reason the trolley handle matters as much as it does. The 90 mm of travel is the thing a new rider notices first and stops noticing fastest.

A 4.3 inch LCD display sits on the wheel itself, so riding data is read where the rider is already looking rather than on a phone clamped somewhere it can be knocked loose. A GPS tracker and remote locking are fitted as standard, which changes what it feels like to leave the P6 outside a shop or a building, and a tyre pressure sensor reports what is happening at the contact patch before it becomes something felt through the pedals.

USB-A and USB-C ports with 22W fast charging turn the pack into a power source for a phone or a camera on a long day out. The footrests adjust, so the stance is set to the rider instead of the rider adapting to the machine, and the ergonomic trolley handle is what makes 50 kg manageable across a car park or a station concourse. The companion app runs on iOS and Android, and that is where settings, riding data and the lock live. Taken together it is a specification list that leans towards the long ride rather than the short hop, which is consistent with what the 4200Wh pack is for. Every item listed here is standard equipment on the P6 rather than an option added later. None of it needs a phone mount or an accessory bought separately.
